No! There is no such thing as a miniature corgi.
While some of our adults are on the smaller side of breed standard, which has no minimum weight limit but a maximum weight limit of 30 lbs, they are not minis! Our puppies usually mature to 22-26 lbs. Some smaller, some larger. We can not guarantee size. We do strive to produce a healthy, athletic corgi. Our kennel name originally came from a high school classmate. She was very short, but very athletic and played many sports. The coaches nicknamed her "Half-Pint". I thought the name was cute and really reflected the Pembroke Welsh Corgi spirit!
If you are interested in a puppy, please send me a message!
I would be happy to hear about you, your family, your home, and what puppy you are interested in. A puppy can be reserved by placing a $300 non-refundable deposit. I can accept deposits via PayPal or Venmo.
Our puppies find amazing homes very quickly! It can be difficult to reserve a puppy unless you are on a waiting list.
I generally keep separate waiting lists for upcoming or planned litters. Please send me a message if you are interested in getting on a waiting list. I do require a $100 deposit to be placed on any waiting list. Any deposits will of course go toward the total price of the puppy.
All of our adult corgis have been genetically tested. We pair our mommy and daddy dogs so that none of our puppies will be genetically at risk for DM, vWD1, EIC, or PRA3.
Our puppies have their tails banded at 3-5 days old. We no longer remove dew claws. They are dewormed at 3, 5, 7 weeks old. They also have coccidia preventative treatment at 5 and 7 weeks old. They receive their first puppy shot at 6 weeks old, and will receive an additional one at 9 weeks old if they are still here. Our puppies are always seen by our vet at 8 weeks old. They have a fecal test and the vet checks their eyes, ears, mouth, heart, lungs, knees. The vet also checks their belly for hernias and testicles to ensure they are both descended. Our puppies will be released to their new homes only after they pass their health check.
We also send all our puppies home with 30 days free health insurance from Trupanion!
While we have sold puppies in the past with breeding rights, we have decided that we will no longer will include breeding rights with any of our puppies. We will now place puppies strictly in pet homes only! This means it is a requirement to have your puppy spayed/neutered by one year of age.
